My handmade homewares embody the essence of slow living, offering a meaningful alternative to mass production. Each piece is crafted with intention, reflecting my presence throughout the process. This deliberate pace not only nurtures creativity and care but also results in creations that carry a sense of authenticity and soul.
The Medium
I work with Australian Acrylic Resin, commonly known as eco-resin due to its non-hazardous classification. Unlike many alternatives, it contains no crystalline silica and is entirely free of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), making each pour not only safer for my health but also a more mindful and stress-free process.
Small Batch
Though inherently eco-conscious, these creations are not biodegradable; they are intentionally designed for longevity. As such, each piece is made to order in small batches, ensuring a commitment to quality over quantity and a mindful approach to producing only what is genuinely desired.
No Waste
I believe in creating without excess. You wont find any single use items in my studio because I'm passionate about not contributed to landfill. After every pour any resin remaining in the jug is left to set and is then crushed up into colourful terrazzo chips to be used for future creations, giving new life to what would otherwise be discarded.
